A service lift and a storage lift in one

The USA8000 carries 8,000 lbs across two full-length diamond-plate runways, each 19" wide and 165" long, set 37" apart. Drive on over the fold-down ramps, raise on a single control, and automatic latches engage at 14 locking positions on the way up. Full travel to the 73" lift height takes about 40 seconds, leaving 69" of height under the runway to work in. A single-point lock release lowers all four columns together. Because the vehicle locks in place, the same machine that lets you work underneath also doubles your floor space — park a second car under the first, with three drip trays seated between the runways to catch fluid from the vehicle above. Drive-thru width is 102.5", and lowered height is 5".

Site, power and clearance requirements

Per the installation manual, the lift should sit on a minimum of 4 inches of 3,500-psi steel-reinforced concrete with no more than 2 degrees of slope — not asphalt, not wood. The base plates measure 12" x 10". Electrically it is simple: the hydraulic power unit plugs into a 110-volt outlet, so no dedicated 220-volt circuit or special wiring is required. For floor space, plan on 112" overall width, or 124" including the power unit, and 175" of length without the approach ramps — 207" with them installed. Overall height of the lift is 82". For overhead clearance, start with the 73" lift height and add the height of your vehicle plus whatever working room you want above it.

What comes in the box

The USA8000 arrives as a complete package: two drive-on diamond-plate approach ramps with wheel stops, three drip trays, a jack tray, a caster kit, and the installation and operation manual. The jack tray accepts a bottle jack or floor jack so you can raise one end of the vehicle off the runways. The caster kit lets you roll the lift around the shop or garage, so it does not have to live in one spot. The power unit takes AW-32 or ISO-32 hydraulic oil, with a reservoir holding approximately 12 quarts per the manual. An optional Triumph SJ-35 3,500 lb sliding jack is available separately for raising a wheel or axle while the vehicle stays on the runways; the sliding jack is not made in the USA.

Freight delivery, finish and warranty

Shipping weight is 1,600 lbs, and the lift moves on an LTL common-carrier freight truck — a 48-foot semi. You are responsible for unloading; the driver does not unload it, and lift-gate delivery is not available for auto lifts. Plan on a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe. You schedule the delivery appointment with the freight company directly, or have the lift routed to the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup. Standard finish is grey and black. Custom runway and crossrail colors are available at no extra charge — columns stay grey, drip trays stay black plastic, the power unit stays black, and the aluminum ramps cannot be painted. Custom color orders are non-cancelable, with production of roughly 3 weeks plus freight transit. Triumph covers the lift with a 1-year parts warranty.

Key features

  • 8,000 lb capacity — carried across two full-length diamond-plate runways, covering most cars, light trucks, and SUVs.

  • 14-position automatic locking — latches engage as the runways rise, and a single-point release lowers all four columns together.

  • 110-volt power unit — plugs into standard household power, so no 220-volt service or special wiring is needed.

  • Three drip trays — seat between the runways and catch fluid from the upper vehicle so it never reaches the car stored below.

  • Jack tray included — accepts a bottle jack or floor jack to raise one end of the vehicle off the runways.

  • Caster kit included — roll the lift around the shop or garage; it is fully portable.

  • Made-in-USA frame — a design in service for more than 20 years; the power unit is not made in the USA.
