What a rolling bridge jack adds to a four-post lift
A four-post lift holds the vehicle by its tires, which is fine for storage and under-car work but useless the moment you need a wheel off. The RJ-9000 solves that. It sits on the lift's runways, rolls front-to-back over the vehicle, and lifts the front or rear axle clear of the runway so you can pull wheels, swap brakes, rotate tires, or work on suspension without ever bringing the car back down. The hydraulics are driven by a foot pump built into the base of the jack, so both hands stay free to slide the lifting pads onto the vehicle's OE jacking points before you start pumping.
Will it fit your lift?
The RJ-9000 spans runways spaced 43.8" to 52.3" apart, measured inside-to-inside. That covers the Triumph NTR-16, NTR-24, and NTR-32 four-post lifts, plus most other commercial-spec four-post lifts in that range. If you already own a lift and are not certain of its runway spacing, measure inside-to-inside between the two runways before ordering — that single number decides compatibility. On the vehicle side, the lifting pads adjust from 40.1" to 59.8" between contact points, which is what lets the jack reach factory jacking pads on cars, SUVs, and light trucks instead of forcing you to stack wood blocks to bridge the gap.
Reading the 9,000 lb capacity correctly
The 9,000 lb rating is per jack, and because a bridge jack supports one axle at a time, the number that matters is axle weight rather than total vehicle weight. A 12,000 lb truck with both axle weights under 9,000 lbs is within range. Maximum lifting height is 32.4". Two sets of height adapters, 1.5" and 5", are included in the box, so you can add reach on taller vehicles without buying extension blocks separately. Most shops run two RJ-9000s per lift, one for the front axle and one for the rear, so a brake job or tire rotation happens without repositioning the jack mid-service.
What ships and what the warranty covers
Each order includes one Triumph RJ-9000 rolling bridge jack and two sets of height adapters, 1.5" and 5". Shipping weight is 600 lbs and the crate measures 48" x 28" x 16" — plan for freight handling at delivery, though once the jack is on the runways its weight is carried by the lift, not by you. Triumph covers the RJ-9000 with a 1-year parts warranty; labor is not covered. In-warranty parts ship free by ground service after phone troubleshooting, and you handle installation yourself or through a local mechanic. Two exclusions: the rubber lifting pads are wear items and are not covered, and the hydraulic cylinders are covered fully for 30 days, then by a seal kit after that window.
