Overhead design and drive-thru clearance

The NTO-13A uses an overhead-style column design: the two posts are joined by a beam across the top rather than a plate across the floor, so the bay between the posts stays clear and vehicles drive straight through. Distance between posts is 122" and drive-thru width is 109", which leaves room to line up wide vehicles on the arms. Overall width is 150" and overall height is 162", so check your ceiling and bay width before ordering. Adjustable swing arms cover a 32"–59" reach range, and the arms come down to a 5" lowered height for low-clearance vehicles. Base plates measure 20" x 20" for anchoring to the slab.

Lifting, locks and safety shut-off

Lifting runs on direct-drive hydraulic cylinders for smooth, even travel. The 3 HP power unit takes the lift to its full 74" lifting height in about 55 seconds. A single-point lock release drops every safety lock together from one lever, so you are not walking between the columns releasing locks individually, and an electrical override automatic safety shut-off stops the lift at the top of its stroke. Rated lifting capacity is 13,000 lbs, which covers passenger cars through heavier light-duty trucks, and a truck adapter set is included at no charge. Every unit is manufactured under ISO 9001 quality standards, and the lift is CE certified and compliant.

Concrete, power and installation

The NTO-13A installs on a concrete slab at least 6" thick, rated to a minimum of 4,000 PSI. Meeting that concrete spec is essential for safe anchoring and for the rated lifting capacity, so it is the first thing to verify in an existing bay. The 3 HP power unit runs on 220V — have a suitable 220V circuit available at the lift location before installation day. Installation itself is not included. The lift ships as freight for installation at your site: you set it on qualifying concrete and anchor it with the mounting hardware that comes in the crate. The 1-year warranty covers parts, not labor, so installation and any later part replacement is handled by you or an installer you arrange.

Delivery, included items and warranty terms

The NTO-13A ships by LTL common carrier on a 48-foot semi. The driver does not unload the lift — unloading is your responsibility, and you will need equipment rated for the full weight, such as a forklift, skid steer, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe. Lift-gate service is not available for auto lifts. If you cannot unload at your location, the lift can be routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup with a trailer or moving van, and you call the freight company to set the delivery appointment. Mounting hardware and truck adapters are included at no charge. Coverage is a 1-year parts warranty, parts only, no labor. Rubber lifting pads are not covered; hydraulic cylinders carry a 30-day full warranty, after which Triumph provides a seal kit for cylinder service.
