What the NTC-690 is built to handle

Maximum tire diameter is 90 inches, which covers the tall sidewalls found on agricultural, industrial, and large truck tires. Maximum wheel width is 42 inches. Those three dimensions — not the tire's brand or load rating — decide whether an assembly fits the machine. Check your actual wheel sizes against that guide before ordering, since a special-order machine is not something you want to discover is undersized after delivery.
Robotic arm and wireless remote operation
A robotic arm performs the demount and mount cycle, which is the difference between a one-person job and a crew with a pry bar. The operator runs the cycle from a wireless remote control rather than standing at a fixed console, so you can step back for a clear sightline on the bead and hold a safer stance while the tool applies the force. On oversized truck, bus, and tractor assemblies, that combination is the entire point of the machine: the arm carries the load, and the remote keeps the operator out of the pinch. Every NTC-690 ships with the tooling needed to start work — a crowbar, clamp covers, a bead press clamp, the wireless remote itself, and an instructional video — so a shop is not chasing accessories before the first billable job.
Power, air, and what it does not include
The NTC-690 runs on 220V shop power, so have a 220V supply available at the machine's location before it arrives. Shop air feeds it at up to 120 PSI maximum air pressure. One capability it does not have: bead blast. The specification sheet lists Bead Blast as No, meaning there is no air-blast bead-seating system built into this changer — worth knowing if your current machine has one and your technicians rely on it. Also note that Triumph does not publish assembled dimensions for the NTC-690. If your bay layout is tight, ask before committing rather than working backward from the crate size. The shipping crate measures 78" x 63" x 35", which gives a rough sense of scale but is not a substitute for a published assembled footprint.

That weight is beyond what a standard liftgate can handle, so arrange a forklift or a loading dock to take delivery.
