The RS Pro 8-Drawer Powered Cart is the workstation-free sibling to the 44" 9-drawer model - same power drawer, same lockable top till with a second power strip, same 520-lb casters, but eight drawers instead of nine and no separate workstation surface. Trade one drawer for a cleaner layout: five wide-drawer storage tiers plus the powered tool drawer plus the top till with security compartment. If you don't need the workstation add-on, this cart saves $40 and gives you 1,288 more cubic inches of usable storage (20,808 vs 19,520).
Every drawer runs on replaceable ball-bearing slides rated 100 lbs per pair (the power drawer gets double slide pairs for 200 lbs total). Full-length BLACK aluminum contoured scoop-style lift-latch pulls prevent accidental openings in transit. Body is 18-gauge steel with UV-protective 3.2 mil high-gloss powder coat. HMC High Security tubular locking system on the till, the security compartment, AND the drawer bank. Non-slip PVC foam drawer liners keep tools stationary as the cart rolls.
