The Daytona LFPA12 is the entry point into doing that work yourself. 12,000 lbs of capacity on 216.5" runways at 25.6" wide, which covers cars, crossovers, half tons, vans, and dual rear wheel pickups. Rise runs 10.2" to 66.9", and the whole cycle takes about 110 seconds up or down, so the rack keeps pace with a working bay.

How much floor space do I actually need?
Plan on 26 by 14 feet. The lift is 142.9" wide and 236.2" long with the ramps tilted up, which stretches to 283.2" when they are down for a vehicle to drive on. Ceiling height is set by your tallest vehicle plus 66.9" of rise, not by the lift, since a four post rack has nothing overhead.
Will it take a dual rear wheel pickup?
Yes. The runways are 25.6" wide each, which Daytona specifies for dually service, and 12,000 lbs covers three quarter and one ton pickups. If the trucks you see are consistently heavier than that, or you are aligning box trucks and shuttle buses, look at the LFPA14 or the LFPA24 instead.
Are the slip plates and turntables really included?
Yes, both are standard. This is worth checking carefully when you compare quotes, because on a number of competing alignment racks the slip plates, the turntables, or both are priced as accessories. A rack that looks cheaper on the headline can land higher once the alignment hardware is added back in.
What else do I need to actually perform alignments?
A wheel alignment computer, which is sold separately. Most shops also add a rolling bridge jack so wheels can come off without leaving the rack. Call us and we will spec the jack with the rack so it arrives on the same order.
What concrete does it need?
A minimum of 8" of 3,000 PSI concrete, level within 3/8" across the installation area, with no anchor placed within 6" of a crack, edge, or expansion joint. Verifying the slab is the customer's responsibility, and installing on inadequate concrete is genuinely dangerous. If you are not certain what is under your floor, core it before you order.
Does it need three phase power?
No. It runs on 240V single phase, 4 HP, 15 amps, 60Hz on a dedicated circuit. Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit and breaker sizing before the installer arrives, and get the drop run to where the power unit column will actually stand rather than where it is convenient today.
How does delivery work?
The LFPA12 ships as freight at roughly 4,490 lbs, with runways over eighteen feet long. That is not a tailgate delivery. You will need a forklift with adequate capacity and a clear approach on site. Talk to a lift specialist before ordering so the delivery is planned rather than improvised on the day the truck shows up.
What is the warranty?
